Yellow once again!

Miley wasn't very happy to have Eric going back to work in yellow.

This is the 7th campground season opener I have been apart of. It is fun to see other people on the campground once again. Miley had a little trouble sharing "her" slide and swings but forgot about it after playing with the camper kids.

We are loving celebrating Miley today. We had waffles with whipcream and sprinkles for breakfast. Then she took a bath with her new bath toys. For lunch the KOA staff came over for hot dogs, mac and cheese and jello. And for dinner friends are coming over to continue the celebration!
We love Miley! We are so thankful for the joy she brings us every day!

Good-bye Rufus

Today started out very sad. Rufus had been missing for two days. Eric got a call this morning that is still hard to believe. A very nice man saw Rufus on the side of the highway and was kind enough to call and even bring him to our home. Rufus apparently had wondered onto the highway next to our home and was hit head on. We are thankful that he didn't suffer and that the man was kind enough to bring him home. Rufus was buried under a tree next to our home. Good-bye Rufus!
