More Pictures

After a long day of Christmas shopping in NYC we went and saw the Rockefeller Christmas tree, way to many people. Hope you all are having fun this Christmas season; I'm so excited to go to MN for Christmas (only 14 more days).

Here we are in Boston, trying to find a spot to set up our camera; well at least you get an idea of what the boardwalk looks like.

Look we really do live in NY, craziness
Please don't look to close at us (I don't think we showered this day) but this is where Plymouth Rock is and where the Pilgrims landed...I thought it was pretty.

I loved this play. Beauty and the Beast was amazing (even Donny Ozmond did a good job). Highly recommend this one. Thank you Al and Mic!!

This is the best way to cook a Thanksgiving meal--Go to work and come home to a wonderful meal, magic (thanks to Mic). It was so good to have family out here for Thanksgiving.

A Rock and A Parade

Underwelming to say the least. I have always thought that the Plymouth Rock was a massive, amazing boulder but that is not the case as you can see it is a rock..interesting huh?

The Macy's Day parade was great to see in person (minus the cold, wet weather). To your left, Julie Andrews is riding a swan

This is David, the Johnson's foreign exchange student. He fits in quite well, and even knows how to play cribbage (even if he did go out for wrestling instead of basketball)

The KOA New Manager

Halloween is a very celebrated time at the KOA so Rufus thought he would join in on the fun. He decided to join the KOA staff.

Day On Broadway

Eric and I just came back from my first Broadway experience. We saw The Producers. Although the acting and singing was great, the plot was crude. But I am not turned away from Broadway yet, I still would love to see Beauty and the Beast, Lion King and Tarzan (yes, I know all disney ones but at least I know they wouldn't be R-rated).

MN Layover

During our 3+ hour layover on our way to RAC PACK 2006 we enjoyed the company of our friends. And due to past whining and smart remarks we thought it wise to include pictures of them to eliminate any further such pouting.

As you can see little Friese is aspiring to be like her parents. She gets her joy fulfillment by picking on innocent bystanders while her parents sit back and cheer her on.

.

He sure enjoys coffee.

Eric is showing how well he and little babies get along.

Thank you steve and anna, and of course Evelyn, for making our MN layover unforgettable:) We love you!

Home Improvements

The picture does not do the kitchen justice. If you can see below the kitchen was sponge painted bright green. We decided on a red and tan. We also were able to get a new sink, stove and dishwasher..we are awaiting the dishwasher to be installed.

This is our new bedroom, the first finished room. Instead of dirty white walls and green furniture I painted the walls tope and the furniture white. We also purchased a new comforter.

This is our house. To the left is the main store for the campground to the right you will see our front entrance. Our bedrooms are on top of the store.

Moving

Our friends surprised us with a going away party. Great job on the cake!!

We enjoyed hanging out with our little brother Ryan

Us with Barbie and Curt who put up with us for 2 years. We love them, can't say enough about them!!!!
Danny and Lauren showed us you can get into trouble swimming after hours:) and Eric displayed his amazing skills of hiding.

New York: The Great Transition

We have now been New Yorkers for a little over 3 weeks. Each day we are reminded how this is not the Midwest, from crazy people at the gas station to numerous calls at midnight from the KOA. I continue to show off my crazy skills of painting while Eric is being the "boss man" for over 40 people. Rufus continues to jump into our vehicle not sure of what is going on. We are enjoying making it home out here on the East coast and are excited to visit all of the surrounding areas. It is truly beautiful out here and we can't wait to see Fall. Our weekends have been spent trying to find a church that we can worship and grow with others which will hopefully provide friendships. Well that's enough rambling for one day. Enjoy the pictures.
