Loving on her brother

This use to be a dog run. Eric tied on a kiddy swing and now it's a "Miley run." She absolutely loves it!

We went to dollar days at the horse races. We let Miley pick the winning horse. But the horse came in a close second...lost all 2 dollars.

Tara and Mason (along with Nils) came over for dinner this past weekend. We enjoy hanging out with them!

Hillary and Hospitals

Wow, what a week! We got to introduce Cooper to Aunt Hillary. And we got to go to Urgent Care twice, the ER once and back to the hospital for 24 hours! We are happy to report that Eric is doing great!! We were so thankful to have Hillary here, not sure what I would have done without her help!!

Another Sickness Update

Guess what we got to do again this morning??? We made another trip to the Urgent Care clinic. Eric was unable to sleep last night because his throat was so swollen he couldn't swallow. Any who they shot him with 2 shots, one was an antibiotic and the other was a steroid shot. He is sleeping and we are hoping he wakes up a new man:) I on the other hand am doing well and so are both kids.

Later today....Eric is now at the ER due to no improvement. Hillary took him since they don't allow infants in the ER and Cooper won't take a bottle. But I'm getting texts updates all the time. Sounds like he is getting the full work up.

Sickness Update

So Eric and I went together to the Urgent Care clinic this morning. Eric could barely talk due to having such a swollen, sore throat. I got out of the shower and noticed I had hives every where! Fortunately (and unfortunately for her) Hillary is here and could stay with Miley. Eric is now taking medication for strep throat and I am on meds for the fun hives. Good times:)
We are hoping to be good as new soon and enjoy Hillary's visit!

Good times??

Just wanted to share our exciting weekend...
I didn't feel well Friday but thought I was just worn out from the MN trip. But then Sat came and I had a fever that kept climbing and other yuckiness. I went to bed at 9 with a 102 temp. I stayed in bed Sun morning, with Cooper at my side, until noon with a 101 temp. Eric was starting to feel sick but hung out with Miley. Sunday night I broke my temp and Eric had a 102 temp. Monday I was just achey with a real bad sore throat and Eric had a 99 temp. He said he felt better than I and did some badly needed grocery shopping and mowed the lawn for the staff party that's tonight. And guess what....he then had a 102 temp again and went to bed at 8. Anyways, our huge praise is that Cooper is doing well and Miley just has a running nose!! I am feeling pretty good and hopefully Eric will shortly.
And on top of all that fun sickness we thought it should be potty training time for Miley! But Miley is a champ! She has been in big girl panties since Thursday I believe and only a couple accidents to speak of!! Yeay Miley:)

MN with 2 kids!

Family at the wedding

Miley loved playing with Pa

I got to see not only family but friends too! This is Alison who stopped by with her family. I also got to see two other friends from college.

Our niece Molly--so cute.

Kallie had changed so much since I saw her last in April! (crazy to think how much Cooper will change too)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Driving 13 hours with 2 kids is a tad different than driving with only one. There was a moment when we took a wrong turn, got caught in Chicago traffic and Miley throwing up, that I thought it was a crazy idea. But we had a great time in MN and I loved watching Miley with her grandparents, aunts/uncles and cousins. And it was great to introduce Cooper to everyone!

2 Months Old!

Cooper is now 2 months old! We love watching him grow and change before our eyes. You would never guess he was over a month early! He has just started smiling back at us. Cooper's neck is becoming stronger and stronger. He can even bear weight on his legs.
