This is the only entrance to my nursing home where I work -A bridge. Last weekends flooding was powerful enough to wipe away our bridge. Therefore, this week of work has been overwhelming and interesting to say the least. I am having to park a half mile away where I then call for someone at work to get me and bring me to work. We use a neighbor's driveway and hike through their backyard to our parking lot. I'm not sure how much longer the neighbor will be so kind. They are working on a temporary road from the neighbor's driveway and rebuilding the bridge. It makes my job busy--constantly on the phone to families. Can't say life is boring.

Easter Fun
what a cute couple
We had a lot of fun when Mom and Dad came out for Easter. They were able to stay for a week. We were able to go into the city twice which included a visit to the following: statue of liberty, empire state building, times square, "mary poppins" on broadway, the NYC library, a taping of the late show with david letterman and the Today show (i'm sure i'm missing something).Mom had fun ordering coffee from Ruppert.
